  [S926] Find-A-Grave, (www.findagrave.com). [S927] Obituary. Laura Quinlan Laura Blood Quinlan, 47, of 711 Hunter Street, Statesville, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Durham County, on June 3, 1961, she was a daughter of the late Donald Blood and Barbara Eisele Blood. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Blood, by her stepmother, Aileen Blood, and by her husband, Steve Quinlan. Survivors include a daughter, Emily Holbrook Caviness and her husband, Matthew, of Olin; three brothers, Donald Blood Jr., John Goodman and Jeff Blood, all of Statesville; and by three sisters, Theresa Waters, of Concord, Susan Blumenstein and Jane Taylor, both of Statesville. Also surviving is her special friend, Ron Baker. Services celebrating Laura's life will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
