Sheets Date of Death:May 14, 2010 Location of Service:Rupp Funeral Home, Inc. - Monroe James E. Sheets, 73, of Monroe died at 4:39 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no public services. The Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family will arrangements. Born July 15, 1936 in Monroe he was the son of William F. and Mary C. (Lewis) Sheets. He married Pat Gulley March 19, 1982. For many years he was a truck driver and then the dispatch manager of Bulk Transit in Dundee. He also worked for Caring Alternatives for two years before retiring in 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was baptized confirmed and educated at St. Michael's Church, Monroe. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Monroe Aerie 3732, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Monroe Lodge 1503 and the Loyal Order of the Moose Monroe Lodge 884. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Monroe; step-children, Michael (Alysia) Cloum of Lambertville, Ron (Suzanne) Cloum and Kelly Cloum both of Monroe; children, William Sheets of New York, James Sheets, Keith Sheets, Tim Sheets and Brenda Noel; two brothers William (Barb) Sheets of Monroe, Richard Sheets of Lambertville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
