  [S927] Obituary. Beatrice Haugen was born July 8, 1919, near Wellsburg, N.D., where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Harvey High School. She married Calvin Bender on March 2, 1942, in Harvey. They farmed near Martin, N.D., for a year before moving to a farm near Harvey. In 1959 they moved into Harvey, where she was a cook at Coral Lanes. He died in 1981. She worked in Harvey at the public library, senior citizens center, Chamber of Commerce and St. Aloisius Nursing Home, retiring in 1999. She moved to Bismarck in 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Morris, Avondale, Ariz., Claudia Isaak, Anamoose, N.D.; a brother, Hadley, Fessenden, N.D.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: Today from 2 to 7 in Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey. Funeral: Friday at 2 in First Lutheran Church, Harvey. Burial: Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
