Pastor Marcia Sylvester will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rose died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services. Visitation with family present will be on Sunday, July 19 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main Street, Aberdeen. Rose Guthmiller, daughter of Theobald and Katherina (Mayer) Guthmiller was born on June 23, 1918 on the family farm east of Hosmer, SD. This is where she was raised and attended school. Rose was united in marriage to Ervin Kranzler on November 26, 1939. They made their home on a farm east of Hosmer. This is where they remained until 1971 when they began making their home in Aberdeen. For many years Rose worked as a seamstress. Grateful for having shared Rose?s life are her children, Robert (Beverly) Kranzler, Waynesboro, PA; Elaine Schumacher and Norma Nielsen, both of Aberdeen; four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, six sisters, one granddaughter, one great grandson, one great great grandson and two sons-in-law. Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.
