  [S927] Obituary. George E. Scheib, 68, Ridley Township resident George E. Scheib, 68, of the Holmes section of Ridley Township, died March 13 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill. Born in Chester, he was a 1959 graduate of Ridley Township High School and was a resident of the Milmont Park section of Ridley Township before residing in Holmes for 41 years. Mr. Scheib served in the U.S. Air Force. A quality-control coordinator for Boeing, he retired in 2003 after 30 years. He was also self-employed in home remodeling and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Scheib loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed yard sales, hunting and fishing and was a member of the Bass Club. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He was the father of the late Michael Scheib and the son of the late Edward F. and Rita Madore Scheib. Survivors: Wife, Joanna Scola Scheib; son, Anthony Scheib of Holmes. Service: Private.
