  [S927] Obituary. Allen W. Nagel (1924 - 2010) Allen W. Nagel, born on July 12, 1924, passed away on March 20, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born to John and Christina (Ketterling) Nagel in Lehr, North Dakota. He attended school in Lehr, ND. He married Virginia Edelman in Aberdeen, SD, on September 20, 1948. He farmed in North Dakota, until moving to Lodi, CA in 1954. He worked at Super Mold Corp for 21 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, in particular ranching and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia; his son, Glenn (Sharon) Nagel of Salmon, ID; grandchildren, Robert and Amy Craggs; five step-grandchildren; step-brother, Ervin Miller of Lehr, ND. He was preceded in death by his three sisters: Alice Schopp, Lea Dorheim, and Beatrice Bauer; two step- sisters, Alice Strobel and Lillian Olsen. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 25th, at 11:00 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Hope Church at 330 South Fairmont Ave. Lodi, CA 95240. A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories can be shared. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
