Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Bismarck Baptist Church, with the Revs. Don Burnett and Clyde Leimberer officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. Theresa born 2 April 1918 in Burleigh County, North Dakota was the daughter of Fred BENDER and Philippina BOSCHEE. After her mother died in May 1918 Theresa was raised by her mother's sister and husband, Christina and Jacob DUTT in Grand Forks. She married Lloyd SCHROEDER in April of 1964, at Bismarck Baptist Church. During World War II, Theresa worked at a defense plant in Portland, Oregon. She then worked in the office at Sears for 17 years. Theresa was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and Bismarck Baptist Church. She took great pride in remembering important family birthdays, anniversaries and special events.
