MILLER, 90, Waterloo, died Wednesday at 12:20 pm at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn, where he had resided for six weeks. He had been ill for two years. Mr. Miller was born April 30, 1893 in DeKalb County to Frank Peter and Cathrine (Miller) Miller. He married Cathrine Karst in 1915. She died in 1947. He married Frances Hoff Piatek Oct 25, 1952. She survives. Mr. Miller was a retired Smithfield Township farmer, a former Dana Corp. employee of 18 years and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Waterloo. He is survived by three sons, Frank, Ashley; Eldon, Gibson City, Ill; Herb, Montpelier, Ohio; seven daughters, Frances Lemish, Garrett; Phyllis Hartman, Hudson; Elizabeth Smith, Angola; Josephine Riddle, South Bend; Constance Miller, Sacramento, Calif; Mary Ferris, Niceville, Fla; Henrietta Goelbel, Edgerton, Ohio; two stepsons, one step daughter, one brother, Herman, Avilla; 38 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and seven step grandchildren. Services were at 10am Saturday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Father Eugene Zimmerman officiating. A Rosary Service was held Friday at the Feller Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery.
