Birth: unknown Death: Jul. 10, 2003 Doris M Love 77, died July 10, 2003 at University of Louisville Hospital, where she had been since being struck on June 24 at the four-way intersection in Palmyra, about 1-1/2 blocks from her home. Love was the daughter of the late Estel and Lillie Huff Wilson. She was a Sunday School teacher for several years, a member of Palmyra Church of Christ and the Palmyra Homemaker's Club. She was an active volunteer in the community, a 4-H leader, and a secretary for her husband, Jarold Phillip Love, the Morgan Township trustee for eight years. She and her husband had been married for 54 years. Other survivors are: their son, Merrill (Buddy) Love of Palmyra; two daughters, Connie Richards and Marilyn Mink, both of Palmyra; a brother, Robert (Bob) Wilson of Austin; two sisters, Elsie June Oaks of Scottsburg and Louise Borden of Salem; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. The funeral was Monday, July 14, 2003, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in the Palmyra Cemetery.
