CATHERINE HOHMAN DIES; RESIDENT OF NOBLE COUNTY CALDWELL - Mrs. Catherine Hohman, 77, of Caldwell Route 4 (near Fulda) died at 4:30 a.m. at her home Friday [2 Dec 1961] following several months? illness. Mrs. Hohman was born Jan. 13, 1884, a daughter of Leonard and Elizabeth Fisher Gerst. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church at Fulda. Surviving are her husband Henry Hohman of the home; two sons, Paul Hohman of the home and Terrance Hohman of Caldwell Route 4; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Heil of near Sonora, Miss Sylvia Gerst of Shields Nursing Home, Zanesville, and Mrs. Adaline Tornes of Marietta; two brothers, Ferdinand Gerst of Caldwell Route 4 and Andrew Gerst of Caldwell; and five grandchildren. Friends may call at Estadt Funeral Home at Caldwell where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. J. J. Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
