I am researching the ancstry of the Bissler family from Portage County, Ohio. My grandmother was Birdell Elizabeth Bissler (1911-1994). Her father's name was Henry Martin Bissler (1887-1963) His father's name was Domnick a.k.a. Dominic Bissler (1853-?) I am wondering my g-grandfather's middle name "Martin" was named after the Martin Bissler in your tree. I did find a biography on the Ohio Gen Exchange Bio-Bin website that mentions the original Bissler family from Germany who settled in Ohio.
