Marcella Kilmer McCauley Marcella Kilmer McCauley, 82, of Pleasant Ridge Road died Sunday (May 28, 2006).She was born July 6, 1923, in Marietta, a daughter of Henry and Marian Iams Kilmer.She was a graduate of Marietta High School with the class of 1941. She had been a member of Lynch United Methodist Church where she had been the organist for 20 years. She had previously been the choir director for Norwood Methodist Church.She had been employed at Phelps Insurance Company as an agent and later retired from Schwendeman-Sigafoos Insurance Co. She enjoyed camping and doing handiwork.She is survived by her husband, Edward McCauley, whom she married July 6, 1944; one duaghter, Nancy (David) Spindler; and a granddaughter, Regan Spindler of Steamboat Springs, Colo. She is also survived by a sister, Jeanne Starkey; a brother, David (Patricia) Kilmer; a niece, Jennifer (William) Burton; and nephews, Daniel and David Kilmer, all of Marietta.In addition to her parents, a brother-in-law, Donald Starkey, is deceased.A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hadley Funeral Home, Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, with the Rev. Charles Martindell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Private graveside services will be held at Lynch Cemetery at the convenience of the family.Memorial contributions may be made to Fearing Township Fire Department, 1975 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, Ohio 45788.
