She was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Louisville, OH, to the late Wesley and Josephine (Pillot) Schaub. Rita was a lifetime resident of the Louisville community, a homemaker and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisville. She is survived by her husband, Paul, with whom she celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in November; one daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Jim Russell of Powder Springs, GA; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Robert and Tamra of Mentor, OH, Thomas (Toby) of Louisville, Timothy and Michelle of North Canton, Gary and Beth of Chicago, IL, Michael and Jan of North Canton; two sisters, Emma Schaub of Louisville and Mary Frank of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Ellen Schaub of Louisville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by five brothers, Paul, Theodore, Donald, Joseph and Thomas Schaub; four sisters, Ozelma Stanley, Mildred Stermer, Catherine Schumacher and Velma Stewart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday morning in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ken Miller officiating. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Aultman Hospice.
