VA marriages on son and grandson: Son: George married Anne Tisher (who comes up as Fisher in the index) on Feb 14, 1888. Upon examination of the document, I see Tisher. Scroll to the right. Grandson: George and Anne's son, Robert was married Aug. 18, 1938. It's on the left, but you need to scroll down to the next record. The wife is Sheryl, but the death certificate listed her surname as Goodwin. I think that's an error. Here she is listed as Hobstetter. claire rassman
